DESCRIPTION:HC4A is hosting its annual scholarship gala on October 7\, 2023
 \, to raise funds for scholarships to be awarded in 2024. The gala will be
  held at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville and Pflugerville Co
 nference Center\, and will feature a cocktail reception\, entertainment\, 
 dinner\, live music\, and a silent auction.\n\nLast year’s gala\, in agg
 regate\, raised over $120\,000\, which supported over 120 scholarships. Th
 ese scholarships helped students and heads of households get jobs that pai
 d better than living wages. The scholarships also supported a pilot progra
 m with the African American Youth Harvest Foundation (AAYHF) to provide ce
 rtification courses to underserved youth.\n\nThis year\, HC4A is hoping to
  raise even more funds to support even more scholarships. The scholarships
  will be awarded to students who are pursuing education and training in hi
 gh-demand fields\, such as healthcare\, technology\, and business. The sch
 olarships will also be awarded to students who are homeless or from low-in
 come families.\n\nThe gala is a great opportunity to support a worthy caus
 e and help change the lives of students who are working hard to improve th

 : HC4A is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to bridgin
 g income disparities through education. The organization provides scholars
 hips\, workforce training\, and other educational resources to students fr
 om low-income families. EC4A also works to raise awareness about the impor
 tance of education and to advocate for policies that support educational e
