The proceeds from Foundation Board Memberships are used to create an irrevocable HC4A Endowment Fund whose income can only be used to provide scholarships. 50% of the income is retained, while the other 50% will be used toward scholarships. Each Endowment Fund will have running list of donors. The minimal that can be donated to the Fund is $2,500. Remember, irrevocable Endowment Funds are forever and can never be dissolved. With retained earnings, the fund will grow over time such that a large portion of the scholarships will be awarded also through this fund. It leaves legacy of HC4A and the Foundation Board Members and other donors who contributed to the fund.
