HC4A has risen to the occasion several times during humanitarian crises
HC4A has risen to help with humanitarian needs during natural disasters and pandemics. Below are the key areas where help was provided.
During Bastrop, TX Fires in 2012
The fires in Bastrop, Texas destroyed about 45 acres. As a result, some of the library books needed to be replaced. HC4A decided to provide the much-needed library books.
Hurricane Harvey Floods in 2017
HC4A has risen to the occasion several times during humanitarian crises in the United States. This includes essential supplies support during the Houston floods in 2017 to Hillard Elementary School for 800 students. This was in partnership with our school supplies vendor, Educational Products USA.
COVID-19 in 2021
In 2021, the HC4O2 campaign was a landmark and emotional fundraising effort for families in India. HC4A worked with NAVYA to provide $50k worth of high-quality Oxygen concentrators to Tata Memorial Hospital network in Mumbai, India. In addition, HC4A funded a permanent on-site oxygen generator at the Tata Memorial Center facility in Khargar, Navi Mumbai.
HC4A also provided internet connectivity to Manor ISD students to facilitate remote learning. This helped kids in over 90 families get access to education.
