Event Type
BMBB is an annual fundraiser hosted jointly by the Hindu and Jewish American communities to provide school supplies for homeless children in the Austin area. With the success of participation and performances by the African American community last year, we are proud to expand this event into a truly multicultural bonanza!
Families and performers from all communities are invited to participate in this special celebration. Expect great food, dance, and music.
Since 2013, this family-friendly, cultural event has shown that this unique partnership can also create a big impact: The school supplies initiative has supported over 15,000 homeless children over the years.
This year, again, we are aiming to extend help to over 1000 children by raising $50,000 through your generosity.
Some major school districts supported through these funds include Austin, Manor, and Del Valle ISDs, children of war veterans, and other organizations, including churches, families, and refugee services.
Enjoy the amazing mix of Bollywood musicals and the fun Borscht Belt vibe filled with laughter, food, music, dance, and, of course, networking.
This is also the perfect opportunity for you to help homeless children who need basic school supplies like papers and colors throughout the academic year.
